BeachFIT Long Island: Your Passport to the Best TRX Training in Town

For those tired of fitness gimmicks and breakneck workouts, BeachFIT Long Island is a breath of fresh air. Owner and certified personal trainer Michael Boccio runs his studio on the principle of less is more. Specifically focusing on TRX training, the training sessions at BeachFIT are limited to eight people which allows Boccio to devote equal attention to every one of his students. Before starting his own business, Boccio worked in a "big box" gym, an experience which left him frustrated and unable to provide high quality training to all of his students.

"Our training session are different from our competitors for two main reasons: We provide intimate small group personal training, [and] our specialization in TRX Functional Training is second to none in the area," Boccio said.

At BeachFIT, instructors teach safe, form-focused exercises that are designed to improve the health and wellbeing of their students in the long term. Boccio thinks that at some point in the last few years, fitness lost its way by relying on flashy, unsustainable exercise programs that promise fast results through shortcuts. Instead, BeachFIT wanted to introduce the highest level of TRX and functional training to fit individual needs and goals.

"Forget the gym and boring machines; we provide an intimate, small-group setting which will keep you motivated and inspired without getting lost in the crowd," Boccio said. "The scalability of TRX Functional training [which is] our expertise, allows us to coach all fitness levels in the same class, helping each to work towards [his or her] own specific goals."

In business for over three years now, BeachFIT has both indoor and outdoor location and training sessions suitable for beginners to professional athletes. From high intensity training sessions to low impact and mobility sessions, instructors devote plenty of individual attention to each student. After a few weeks of regular sessions, you are bound to see a difference in the way you look, but more importantly, in the way you feel.

"Our Program helps members get in shape by combining cardio/conditioning and strength training into a single total body workout," Boccio said.

Avoiding common injuries while staying fit is a primary concern for the instructors at BeachFIT. Instructors are focused on helping members move properly and avoid unnecessary strain while getting lasting results. They also offer nutritional coaching and monitoring, an essential aspect of a healthy lifestyle.
