Weight Loss by Pete Helps Clients Drop Pounds Permanently Without Strenuous Work

Pete Weintraub knows all too well about the struggle to lose weight. He's been overweight twice in his life; once during childhood and again as a young adult. Today, he's taken what he's learned about what works to not just lose weight but keep it off for good and teaches his methods to other Long Island residents via his Levittown-based business, Weight Loss by Pete.

"Because of my personal 100 pound weight loss journey, I believe I have both a unique perspective and rapport that I can give to my clients and to their individual needs," Weintraub said. My programs are holistic, meaning we not only tackle the physical aspects, but the clients' mindset around food and self-sabotage as well. This sets them up for healthy, sustainable, and permanent success, which is more than most programs in the health and fitness industries can provide."

Weight Loss by Pete offers several levels of weight management programs, including a purely online program, an in-person program, and a hybrid solution in which clients receive the benefits of the online program plus a weekly in-person session. The last two mentioned programs are for Long Island residents only. The one thing all of Weintraub's solutions have in common is that they're devoid of terminology that can confuse those with limited knowledge of fitness and nutrition. Weinstraub's approach believes in the old KISS adage, "Keep It Simple, Stupid."

"Because of the oversaturated, money-hungry 'experts' in the health and fitness field, there's a plethora of fad diets and exercise programs meant to confuse the average person," he said. "Terms like 'keto,' 'macros,' and other complicated terms are used to make you think you're doing something wrong, when in actuality, nutrition is simple, not easy, and consistent exercise can be achieved through means that you actually enjoy."

Weintraub holds seven fitness and nutrition certificates, and learned about the most effective way of eating from CrossFit's founder years ago, which was to focus on the quality of food, and not worry too much about quality. Organic meats, veggies, nuts, seeds, minimal starch, and no added sugar helped Weintraub lose over 100 pounds as an adult, and keep it off for good.

All new clients must first get their mindset on track by identifying emotional triggers that cause overeating or eating unhealthy foods. Clients then input their diet using Weintraub's own customized online app, and he encourages complete honesty so he can create healthier substitutes for junk food that still taste just as good. From there, he determines what each client prefers for exercise and comes up with workouts that are fun and engaging based on the person's likes and dislikes. Together, his program gets clients on the road to permanent weight loss, without a highly restrictive diet and strenuous exercise regimen.

The client testimonials on Weintraub's site speak for themselves. He's helped a 40-something get back into a shape, a mother of twins regain her confidence, and he developed modified exercises for a woman with Parkinson's.
