The Window Cleaning Process: An Interview with Sean Stiles of Brightway Window Cleaning and Powerwashing

By Sean Stiles

Tell us a little bit about your company and its foundation.

Brightway Window Cleaning and Powerwashing:
Our Main Service is Curb Appeal (This includes Roof Cleaning). That means removing the black stains on your roof, black mold, green algae, moss, lichen, and more with our hydrogen peroxide based roof cleaner, which is safe for the houseowner, their pets, lawn and etc. Then a house wash, which brightens up your siding, removes green algae, and black mold. We use a mold/algae killing solution before power washing to kill the molds/algaes and then power wash them away, which makes it harder for dangerous black molds to return.

What are some important questions to ask the window cleaner before beginning the process?

Are you insured?! Window cleaning is dangerous work, you want to make sure your window cleaner is insured. Just ask and our policies will be emailed directly from LPL Risk Management in Lake Ronkonkoma.

What kinds of windows will you service?

We clean all windows: "No building too small or too tall for Brightway Window Cleaning and Powerwashing."
Residential and Commercial.

Type in www.brightwaycleaning.com and all your curb appeal wishes will be fulfilled.

How do you suggest clients prepare for this process?

Prepare to be amazed by our polite on time crew, With many years cleaning windows they know how to be safe, fast and nice.

What are some common issues you face when it comes to cleaning windows?

Hard water stains create a rust color that's hard to remove! Wherever you have an irrigation system spraying water (well water) on your windows and frames, the glass will get pitted and the stain only gets worse. Commercial buildings are the buildings that have the most hard water stains.

However, while tricky, we can remove hard water stains from windows and vinyl siding and any other surface stained.

What's the best way for people to get in contact with you?

Our website is a quick way to start the process, check out our website and go to "free estimate request page" and fill out a couple questions like name, address, scope of work, etc and it's instantly emailed to me and I can return email quickly or call our Office (Eric) at 631-846-9916
